While it's a start, it's clearly not enough. Maybe this is the beginning of the avalanche. I must say that the Democrats have been drawing out these scandals as long as they can with decent efficiency. Or at least I hope that is the plan. One can only hope they understand that the longer the GOP is steeped in corruption, the worse off their chances will be for 2008. Just call in and say something to the effect of "I'd like to register my support for the impeachment of President George W. Bush and Vice President Dick Cheney." It appears that there is no actual poll, but that this was started in the forums at Democratic Underground. All in all, it doesn't much matter. In light of the recent HD-DVD key fiasco it is becoming very clear that the internet masses can move a mountain rather easily. There has never been a mountain in great need of moving. Again it must be said that Impeachment does not mean removal from Office. It must also be said that removal from Office would mean that Vice President would become the President unless he were impeached first. Furthermore, impeachment requires a far greater consensus amongst politicians.
